Dennis Romero

Romero is a journalist who started writing about electronic dance music for the Los Angeles Times in 1991. He produced two DJ-mixed compilations, Local Underground volumes one (DJ Hiro) and two (DJ Sol) in 2002. He writes a dance music column for Los Angeles alternative weekly LA CityBeat and is a staff writer for Ciudad Magazine, a corporate sister of Los Angeles magazine, Texas Monthly and Power 106 radio.
