DJ Denzel started to spin records when he was seventeen. Shortly after finishing Umek and Shark’s (both renowned Slovenian DJs) school for DJs at PROPAGANDA club in Ljubljana, he was selected to be one of the featured performers at the Slovenia’s longest club party, where many excellent local DJs lined up for an amazing one hundred hours non-stop show. In the same year, he was awarded with the “Best Newcommer DJ” title and residency in PROPAGANDA club’s NEWCOMMERS WORKSHOP. His passion for the music grew stronger and inevitably pushed him onwards as he seized the opportunities for personal promotion in media, appearing on POMP, a local TV show and on different local radio stations. As his personal record collection grew, he started to develop his own personal style, performing at numerous Slovenian parties in the company of local and international DJs. In 2001, he became the resident DJ in JAVA club, where, over time, he was able to perfect personal technique and acquire valuable experience. As he realised he wants more out of music than merely spinning records, he started producing his own trax.
