Derek Taylor (born May 7, 1932, Liverpool, England - died September 8, 1997, Sudbury, Suffolk, England) was an English journalist, writer and publicist. He notably served as The Beatles' press agent from 1964-1965 and press officer for Apple Records from 1967-1970. He was also active as producer and record company executive for Warner Bros. Records and later Handmade Films.
