of Dance
A.k.a. Dos Overdose (2)

b. 16/01/1968 in San Antonio, TX USA. Dewane Hall II, the owner and creator of Abrodos Music, has been in the underground music scene since 1986. He has always had a special bond to music, but began his DJ career after suffering a high school football injury. He began to heal, utilizing music, not only as therapy, but also to discover a creative side of him that had previously been untapped. It was while attending college, that he met some friends who helped influence his musical taste. Friends such as: Len Horn, Ken Danzy, Carl Craig, and Vince Martin. Later, he would began a college radio program entitled, "Tearin Down The Walls". A special memory, is when he received an encouraging letter from legendary DJ Ron Hardy, who used his playlist header to help promote a current Trax record release, which happended to share the same title. He also began to frequent clubs such as: the Music Institue and the City Club, which allowed him to be introduced to legendary DJ's such as: Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Ken Collier, and others. These clubs only motivated Dewane to dive deeper into electronic and house music. He began to shop at many different record shops, and was soon employed and buying records for many different underground record stores. At this same time, Dewane, who was also using his time to practice his unique style of DJing, began to spin under the alias of "Overdose". A fan in joking blurted out that Dewane played so much Acid House that he might O.D., and the DJ name stuck. He became very popular at his craft, and began to travel throughout the United States and Canada. Some of his most memorable highlights, include the State Theather Panic Parties, and raves in Chicago and Milwaukee. Traveling outside the Detroit area, Dewane for the first time, viewed the negative impact that drugs were having on the underground music scene. Not wanting to be associated with drugs of any type, Dewane chose to change his DJ name to "Dos".
