An exciting production duo from Samara, Russia founded in 2006. Dextems are currently focusing on their own unique brand of techno influenced drum & bass music. The Dextems sound is partly inspired through their high technology studies in aerospace engineering. Dealing with the design, construction, and application of the science behind the forces and physical properties of aircraft, rockets, satellites, and spacecraft. Combine this with Dextems musical influences from artists such as Amon Tobin, Aphex Twin, Tech Itch, Konflict, Proket, Raiden, Black Sun Empire. This goes some way to explain the influence in Dextems tracks, heavy bass, techno samples, eerie atmospheres, and hard beats rolling like a complex mechanism. In recent years Dextems have worked hard to develop and progress their skills. With an onslaught of releases on Paperfunk, Future Sickness, Unknown Error, Melting Pot and more, Dextems are rapidly building a solid catalogue of diverse tracks. Always coming with a fresh, new and versatile progression of their own sound, recent tracks have caught the attention of UK labels Freak Recordings and Rise Audio, further raising Dextems global profile. Dextems are as deadly behind the decks as in the studio, expect great drum & bass selection, fast paced, high energy mixing, that is always tight and on point.
