Andersen belongs to the famous Austrian-Hungarian piano school, having been the pupil of the marvellous Frédéric Chopin and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart player, Stefan Askenase, himself pupil of Emil Sauer who was a student of Franz Liszt. On the other hand, a long partnership and numerous concerts with André Gertler, friend and duo partner of Béla Bartók, has brought a real authenticity to her interpretations of the works by the great Master.
