De Dichter is a Dutch-Ethiopian hip-hop MC and Producer, born August 21st, 1990 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from where he was adopted by a Dutch family when he was 9 Months old, performing with lyrics in Dutch. Raised in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, South Holland, the Netherlands, a Northeastern suburb of Rotterdam and hailing from a musical family, Dichter began his career producing for rapper Hef on his "Papierwerk" album. In 2009 he released his debut EP "Leren Luisteren" followed by the release of two additional EP's in colaboration with former Postmen member G-Boah as Dichter x Boah. In 2015 he released his first full length album "Nieuwe Leven"
