Dick Hensold is a Northumbrian smallpiper currently based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-St. Paul) area. He studied at Oberlin Conservatory and worked with the Chicago Early Music Consort before moving to Minnesota in 1984. Hensold has performed in Scotland and has taught Northumbrian smallpipes at workshops across the United States, Canada and Northumberland. He also plays Cambodian, Nordic, and early music.
