A.k.a. Dick Lee
American singer popular in the early 1950's who was dubbed, "America's Golden Boy". As a teenager, Dick had his first hit song in “All I Want Is A Chance” which was released in England. This was followed by his Billboard-charting hit, “Oh Mein Papa”. Dick then married and, ambivalent about the recording business and its insecurities, opened a night club in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The club became very successful and was a stepping stone for many artists through the decades that followed. Dick continued to perform throughout the United States and was especially popular in Atlantic City.
