A.k.a. Frau Suurbier
Founded in 1981 as Frau Suurbier, In 1984 they changed their name into Die Suurbiers. (History 1981-1984: Frau Suurbier) Also in 1984 they founded a Organisation to Support the Music-Talent of Young Musicians. 1985 they released the Mini-Album Kein Mann Für Eine Nacht. 1986 Bum Bum Suurbier (Michael Beckmann) joined the Band, but left in 1987 to join Rainbirds. Late 1986 Grandmaster Suurbier (Wolfgang Rohde) left the Band to join Die Toten Hosen . In 1991 Cäpt’n Suurbier (Michael Wahler) with his new Band Line-up: Bugs Suurbier, (Hans Tismar), Honky Tonk Suurbier (Dirk Bartilla) & Overnight Suurbier (Stefan Fiebig) released the Single/Maxi Zwei Boys Für Jedes Girl!. In 2001 they released the Single Möpse with a new Band-member Tex Suurbier (Peter Hajunga) wich is a re-recording of a Song from „Kein Mann Für Eine Nacht“. A new album was announced in 2007 but never released. In February 2014 Cäpt’n Suurbier (Michael Wahler) Committed Suicide
