Band, AT
The austrian Band Die Bucht (2006 - 2013) was assembled by Singer & Songwriter Peter Wolfgang Wetzelsberger, ex-members of jam session combo North-North-West and 60s coverband Aphrodites Phonenumber. They played different styles like Reggae, Dub, Jazz, Punk and more, always filled with Peter's german lyrics, but prefered their own describtion "Mildenburger Schule", mentioning their connection with the Mildenburg in Salzburg (former home of bands like Merry Poppins or Moby Stick...) and Peter's influences by the so called Hamburger Schule (Tocotronic or Die Sterne...). Concerts of Die Bucht were rare, but always legendary; they never released any recordings - except "Gitarrenmann" as bootleg on the Artarium Mixtape (2009). Some members of Die Bucht also played with other MIldenburg bands like The Pond Pirates. Peter's later band Wir Getier called themselves by a song of Die Bucht.
