All songs recorded at Rainbow Studios, except tracks 7 & 8 recorded in Dereck Higgins' basement on a 4-track and engineered and mixed by him. All songs were remastered from the original 2-track mixes at Ware House Productions in 1994. Track 9 was mixed especially for this CD because a 2-track master never existed for it. Jeff Runnings appears courtesy of For Against. Dickson LeBron appears courtesy of Atomic Breathing. Songs published by Post-Ambient Music (BMI) and administered by Bug Music. Tracks 1 & 3 (1984) originally appeared on the Stephen Sheehan 7" EP "Recovery". Track 5 (1982) originally appeared on the Dereck Higgins 7" EP "Dereck 2". Track 6 (1986) originally appeared on the Digital Sex CD "Essnce And Charm" but was mixed then without the band. It was remixed in 1992. Track 7 (1984) originally appeared on the cassette compilation "Dereck" released by Dereck Higgins. Track 8 (1985) has never been released in this version. Track 10 (1987) originally appeared on the British compilation LP "Music From The Dead Zone 2 USA", and was the last thing ever recorded by Digital Sex. It was done live to 2-track. Tracks 4 & 9 (1984) were recorded during the "Recovery" sessions but were never released. Track 2 (1984) is another outake from "Recovery", but it's been stripped down and re-recorded several times. It has also never been released. This is the first time tracks 1-10 have been available on CD in these versions. Tracks 11-19 are the "Essence" LP.
