Brazilian singer. She started singing at the age of 9 and after years performing in Brazil later she moved to Italy where she worked for various national advertisement campaigns. In 1993 she recorded her first Italian record, produced by Best Sound & Flying Records, with the group Caraiva, which she led until 1995. Later in 1995, she worked on the Brazilian Love Affair project, based on the covering, in Brazilian style, of pop songs by other artists. With this group she recorded 4 LP and 4 singles. In 1999, Dilene formed the jazz-oriented Dilene Ferraz Group. In 2004, together with Sergio Fabian Lavia, she started a new project called “De Argentina ao Brazil”.
