A.k.a. Michael James DiMuro
Michael James DiMuro was born on August 22, 1996, in Inverness, Florida where he attended Citrus High School. DiMuro is a member of Platinum Boy Music Inc When he was 8 years old his parents bought him a First Act drum set as a Christman present. He began practicing in his garage every day, drumming along to heavy-metal and rock music. Later, when he was 12, he discovered instrumental beats on the internet from stumbling across the website known as SoundClick. He discovered the producer Vybe Beatz on the website and was inspired. After searching for the program that Vybe used, DiMuro found the DAW known as FL Studio and searched online for tutorials and free project files to study the mechanics of the program. DiMuro learned the software and began making beats of his own. Initially he wanted to create instrumental music to expand his musical knowledge, but after deciding that he liked making beats more than drumming, he turned his full attention to hip hop, pop, and EDM production. He is fully self-taught and has never attended a college. In early September of 2015, a producer called Posta (formerly known as Supa Producer Posta) discovered DiMuro's music online and contacted him, complimenting him on his work and asking about the sounds that he used in his production. Shortly afterwards, he and Posta began collaborating on beats and soon landed a placement with Ray Jr. & Kirko Bangz on a track called Good Girls - a song of Ray's Gold Packs mixtape. : In September 2016 DiMuro was contacted by Atlanta-based audio engineer Cameron Cartee to contribute to a single for Christian Smith, later released as I Wonder. . DiMuro worked alongside DeeMoney Beatz, Steven Danielson, and FunkMedic on the composition. Once DeeMoney heard DiMuro's revisions to the instrumental, they then continued to collaborate with each other over email. After building up a solid instrumental portfolio together, they began submitting their music to various artists and landed a few placements with artists including K Camp, Asia Bryant, Que, Miguel Fresco and various other artists. In 2017, Cartee reached out once again to collaborate on his EP "Extra Sauce", featuring artists including OJ Da Juiceman, Yung Ralph, Lil Scrappy, Hot Boy Turk, Jody Breeze, Mykko Montana, Peewee Longway, Cool Amerika, and Bobby Valentino. Production for the entire EP was handled exclusively by DiMuro, DeeMoney and BeatGodz. Later, DiMuro contacted songwriter BobbyLuv via Instagram with a beat he and DeeMoney made, and shortly after, Bobby posted an Instagram preview of the song which featured LuvaBoy TJ and Lil Twist with a release date TBA. DiMuro has produced for many artists and entertainment companies, including but not limited to: Que Miguel Fresco BobbyLuv K Camp Asia Bryant Kirko Bangz Ray JR Lil Twist Rich Homie Quan LuvaBoy Mr2TheP Pizzle D-Bridge Lil Scrappy Christian Smith Oshea Malachiae Warren Trey Songz Teddy Mac Universal Music Group Atlantic Records Interscope Records Warner Bros.
