Singer/songwriter/guitarist born October 9, 1943 in Arroyos y Esteros, Paraguay. A member of Luis Alberto del Parana's ensemble from 1970, he formed his own entertainment band, Los Magicos Paraguayos, after the latter's death in 1974. With this group he recorded and toured throughout Europe and the Middle East until 1987 before returning to Paraguay in 1988 and founding a label named "Libra". Mr. Villamayor died of liver failure on February 20, 2010.
