Disco was a dbeat band started circa 2006 based in the city of San Dimas, CA by two of the three members of American Waste: Alex B., guitarrist and Lucas, drummer, bassist and vocalist (only drums + vocals live). They played a handful of shows in LA County with the first line up while recording two demos: "What" and "Rubble", which included recordings of cover songs of the band's essential influences such as Kuro, Psykoze and Ratos de Porão but mostly original tracks with lyrics written in English and sometimes Portuguese. Alex left the band and Lucas, the only consistent member during Disco's existence and responsible for most of the overall concept of the band such as song and lyric writing, artwork and duplicating demos, recruited Matt T. and Eric E. to take on drums and vocal duties, respectively, while Lucas switched to guitar. Lucas had little prior experience playing drums and also simultaneously performed lead vocals while playing live on all songs, therefore playing a familiar instrument like guitar, granting lead vocal duties to Eric and having a much more experienced and talented drummer in the new lineup, Disco acquired a much more aggressive stage presence and delivered with precision a more ferocious sound. A third recording was made featuring the three piece lineup: a 2008 live recording of the band's rehearsal practice from , which unlike the two earlier multi-tracked recordings that featured Lucas as lead vocalist as well as drum and bass player all recorded separately, the third recording was a live recording that had no bass at all, just like all of their live performances where only drums and guitar were used as instruments. By 2009-10, Disco had stopped playing shows and therefore slowly ceased to be a band. Members of Disco have played in several other Los Angeles county and San Gabriel Valley hardcore punk bands, including American Waste, Snorklepuss, Earache Therapy, Crustomper and Condition. Select tracks from the first two demos were released on a split with Disbrigade (Ecuador) in 2017 on Pluteras Records.
