... Finnish writer/producer Miika Eloranta has a versatile background in music making. He has written songs for several best selling Finnish pop groups such as XL5, Tik Tak and Waldo’s People. He has also remixed international artists under the names Super 8 and e-Sing. In addition to his previous productions Miika Eloranta is known for his work on the Finnish house duo Nuoska. He and Paavo Siljanmäki (of Above and Beyond fame) also form the trance group Aalto, whose single ‘Liquid Sweep’ is licensed to Anjuna Beats and has got good feedback from the likes of DJ Tiesto and Armin van Buuren. Miika Eloranta wrote Disco Science’s first single ‘Exciter’ in co-operation with british writer Julie Morrison who also provides the vocals for the track. ‘Exciter’ has a funky approach to high-energy disco but it still manages to keep the pace up and running. - The best thing about music making is when you get to the right mood. Then you know exactly what to do to reach the ultimate goal, says Miika.
