Disdained is a melodic progressive/gothic metal from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 2005. In 2008, Disdained headlined the Harvester Rock festival in Finland and during 2010 the band performed at Sweden Rock Festival. Disdained also won the Stockholm finals 2010, including the category "best guitarists" at the Stockholm/Sweden/Nordic final in the world's biggest music competition, the Emergenza music festival.
