Brutal Death Metal band from Khabarovsk, Russia. Disfigurement was started in 1997 in Khabarovsk, Russia, by guitarist Sergey "FETUS" Glushko and bassist Anatoliy "GORE" Zagoruyko. First line-up was completed by Valeriy "SAFAR" Safronov (vocals) and Alexey "CELS" Razumov (drums). In 1998 "CELS" left the band and Alexey "DIS" Litvinov became a new drummer. During the first year of existence Disfigurement rehearsed, perfomed with different metal-acts at local festivals and composing songs. Their demo CD "Corporal Sadophilia" was recorded and released in 1999. It consists of 6 tracks of pure death metal with sick and perversive lyrics. The band took part in a lot of gigs in differents places of Russian Far East and then stopped playing in 2001 because of number of issues. After 7 years of silence, band-members gathered again for doings shows and writing new brutal songs in in the vein of brutal smashing moshing death. In 2009 the band decided to add the second vocalist Ivan Ivanov from Khabarovsk's grind-band ANASTETIC to their line-up for more intensive guttural'n'growl attack. In the beggining of 2010 the band entered the studio to record new album and "GORE" quit the band because of personal and creative difficulties. He was replaced by Anton Tarasov and the band completed studio sessions with him. In summer 2011 "SAFAR" was replaced by Sergey "CyclopZ" Levshin and Disfigurement took part in Far Eastern with mighty death metal band Autopsy Night from Sakhalin Island. And after a year of mastering and mixing problems the album "Priviledge Of The Sickest Pleasure" was ready. Mastering was done by Alexander from Abominable Putridity and artwork was created by Evgeniy from GrimTwin Studios, who also made artworks for Cephalic Impurity, Deicide, 7.H.Target and others. The album will be released in fall 2011 through label Anopsis Records.
