Film director Juanma Bajo Ulloa, was commissioned to film the spanish rock band 'District 14' , 25-year career after announcing what will be their last concert. But unexpectedly for him, he will become one of the most exciting events in his career, and decided to transform the initial proposal in a tribute to a way of life that seems to be endangered. wwww.honeymustardrecors.com AUDIO CD-> Because just as the film is largely on the life of the group after the spotlights and scenarios, the songs in the cd are the unpublished soundtrack of District 14 unknown until today. This CD album "They were back" that we present are 11 unreleased songs, 7 of them were recorded in different studios and 3 in our rehearsal. Except the last two (recorded in 1984 in Frankfurt, Germany) that were intended to be part of our first album, finally unpublished, all are part of our material prior to the development of different albums released work. They were made along the entire trajectory of the group remaining forgotten in a drawer. And now, over time after the end of District 14, was indicated the time to bring them out, as we so excited as those who were best known. In order of appearance: "Starman" is a free version of this wonderful song we did for David Bowie tribute album. In its construction in 2006, I relied much more than the content of the original letter, in what has always inspired me to listen to a child. / "The Crystal Lake" was the last recording of District 14, made in 2008 for the film and based on an early version of our first demo in 1982. The finished 25 years later, dedicated to a great friend who left us a few years ago. / The next four belong to a pre-recorded in 1995 as our album "La Calle del Sol" / work model These three songs belong to a model made in the rehearsal room in 1998 and inexplicably left without being recorded in our records following. / The last two songs recorded in Germany belong to the album in 1984, which remains unpublished to date.
