German hip-hop DJ from Göttingen, Lower Saxony, Federal Republic of Germany. Owner of the "End2End" graffiti and skate shop on the Goethe-Allee in downtown Göttingen, right next door to the Dis-Records record store, Def Rock was instrumental in creating a platform for the culture in the small university town. Both organizing and performing at several jams in the area where the local punk rock scene and hip-hop scene would gather. He was the DJ for one of the first hip-hop crews from Göttingen called Counter Attack (4), who leaned towards the britcore sound coming from the U.K. in the early nineties. He later played in several crossover bands, and was the DJ for Nu Metal band Herzer from 1998-2004, before parting on friendly terms.
