A.k.a. Panagiotis Pournos

Panagiotis Pournos comes from southern Greece and goes by the name DJ Microstar, when behind the decks. An avid fan of electronic music, he started to mix Psy-Trance at his own home studio, while still studying in Thessaloniki. It was in 2007 that he made his first appearance at the University of Thessaloniki and a contract with FMU followed soon afterwards. Since then, DJ Microstar has been spinnin Progressive and Psy tunes in his many appearances at parties and festivals all over Greece and Europe. More specifically, his participation at the Ozora Festival (Hungary), and his Ministry of Sound (UK) and Mount41n Gathering (GR) performances, is widely considered to be some of his best work. DJ Microstar has shared the stage with DJ’s/Producers such as Talamasca, Laughing Buddha, Tristan, U-Recken, Egorythmia, Ace Ventura, Krama, Major7, X-Noize, Lupin, Inner State, Aquafeel and many more. He was also in charge of the musical editing for the theatrical performance “Life in Acts”, as well as Thessaloniki’s Festival of Water Sports. In winter 2010, while residing in London, UK, he studied Music Production and worked on various projects for Subbass Studio and the very prominent “Ministry of Sound”. It was in 2013, when DJ Microstar released his first recording work, entitled ‘Special Blend’ Vol.1, featuring exclusive tracks by Egorythmia, Lyctum, Aquafeel, Atom Device, Hi Profile and more.
