Dmitry Korostelyov (b. 1979) is a Russian pianist and harpsichordist from Volgograd. He studied composition with Alexey Nikolayev at the Moscow Conservatory, graduating in 2003 and completing his postgraduate studies in composition there under Valeri Kikta. In 2005, Dmitry won the Best Accompanist Prize at the Rimsky-Korsakov Wind and Percussion Instruments Competition in St. Petersburg. The musician has performed with the Russian State Symphony Orchestra, Volgograd Philharmonic Orchestra and other prominent ensembles. Korostelyov recorded three albums for Toccata Classics and Piano and Chamber Works by Boris Tchaikovsky for Naxos' Grand Piano (2) imprint. In 2014, Dmitry Korostelyov was ordained to the diaconate of the Russian Orthodox Church by Metropolitan Hilarion (Alfeyev) of Volokolamsk.
