Album 2007 on Are You Serious label
Hip-Hop/Rap (Boom Bap, Jazzy Hip-Hop, Conscious, Cloud Rap, Trip Hop, Bounce, Pop Rap)
Doctor Oscify's Sick Physics II is a high octane hip-hop EP and features tracks from his never officially released album, The Sick Physician. From the opening moments, mixes banging beats and supreme lyrical confidence with real vulnerability. On the opening track produced by Improv, Doc Os quotes a few lines from the classic Lyrics Born track, "Callin' Out", "To all area crews, we're gonna make this shit happen right here, right now"!; just before Oscify drops some highly intricate chopper style verses and some Grade A harmonizing. The following track, "Can't Stop Rocking" is an instant favorite with Dirty Hairy's jazzy beat and Doc Os is joined by emcee Random Beats a.k.a. Mega Ran; and Loveland, CO rhyme vet Ethix a.k.a Tha Clurk from DNE and True Vintage. Track 3, No Time to Waste", produced by DJ Deadbeat Dominic, is a jumping party track, balls to the wall sensibility, and having fun, but you know, time flies. Track 3, Race to the n the opening track produced by ImprovEnd is a meandering introspective track, wiht a classic boom bap beat by Illastr8ed as Oscify and Albuquerque, NM emcee Solar Uno blaze intricate triplets of personal experiences. The EP ends with Give it All, a deeply personal and melodically whistful song about childhood and the meaning of real Love and what it means to give everything unselfishly.
