Dockalfar was born as a one-man-band of Kalrog Naar for testing his new drum-machine and guitar equipment from january 'till December 2005. Other 5 demo tapes were recorded but remains unrelased. The same for the cd 2007 "L'Era Oscura". Then the band split up until 2012, when Cesare decided to re-form it in order to re-record the old unrelased material, but the year after in February 2013 he decided to split-up the band forever because he completely lost interest for the project to focus more on his main band Animae Capronii. The name 'Dockalfar' was taken from the Italian role-playing game 'Lex Arcana', and it indicates a race of dark elves of the German mythology.
