A.k.a. Derrick Biscombe Dick Jordan
Born in 1939 or 1940 in (or around) Leeds and went to Chapeltown school in Carr Holmes, near the Stainbeck Lane area of Leeds, West Yorkshire and was a keen Rugby player. When he left school Derrick won a talent show at a holiday camp and worked briefly in Manchester before "risking all" by moving to London to achieve his dream of becoming a "star". As "Don Duke" he released 19 7" records for Embassy and appeared on at least one Embassy LP. He continued to record under the "Dick Jordan" alias through to the mid 1960's on a number of labels. Little else is known about is life/career after he ceased recording.
