Bass player from Southern California, USA. Don, and his brother Doug Ellington (2) (first cousins of Buck Owens) formed Doug Ron & Don in the early 1970's near Bakersfield, California USA. After playing with the group Doug Ron & Don, Ellington continued his musical career in a band called the Hayshakers (along with steel guitarist player Allan Flaa from Doug Ron & Don). The Hayshakers won the Band of the Year award at the 3rd Annual Bakersfield [California, USA] Award Show.
