Hi Everyone.
Well, this has been a long and difficult journey.
First, I discovered the old reel to reel tapes in my storage. The tapes had been subject to some moisture, but Ampex Corporation had come up with a solution. Simply Bake the tapes in an oven for 10 hours at 125 degrees. Then play the tapes on a reel to reel machine and transfer into ProTools. BUT……the tapes will only play one time, and then they are gone.
Ron Hitchcock lovingly baked and transferred my music to Digital at very high frequency rate (96k) to preserve the Analogue sound. Then he edited each music "Cue", sometimes including the slate, or production ID. I really love hearing the bits of conversation and laughter in my recording sessions. It takes me right back to 1982.
I want to thank Mr. Phillip Cohen at NBC UNIVERSAL for allowing us to release these four volumes of Knight Rider in time for the Southern Knights Convention. These Flash Drives are the wave of the Future, making CDs obsolete.
I will be producing a companion booklet for these Volumes, and it will be available for download sometime in the near future.
There are 2 Audio folders. The first contains the Cues in Mp3 format for playing in automobile stereos and all USB applications. The second Audio folder contains the larger WAV files.
Thank You for Your Continued Support.
Best Regards and Love from Don Peake
