Don Weiss began recording professionally in 1980 at the age of twenty. By the time he was twenty-four, he had already worked his way up to the position of Chief Engineer at a major Toronto recording studio. In 1988, the Beach Boys brought Don to California where he continued to work on their recording projects. Over the next eleven years, Don continued to produce and engineer music for major artists, mix sound (FOH -front of house) for live concerts and record for many popular TV shows. After years of working at various studios all over North America, Don Weiss decided to move his recording studio to Prescott, Arizona. Dondi Music Studios is one of the only full-scale, state-of-the-art recording facilities in Northern Arizona.
