Jamaican born trombonist educated at the Alpha School. He emigrated to Canada in August 1968 and then to the US in 1970s. He was a music teacher in NYC public schools for over 20 years. He recorded extensively in Jamaica for producer George "King" Edwards. Was a member of The Cavaliers, Lynn Taitt and the Comets and subsequently Lynn Taitt & The Jets. Recorded for Lee Perry in 1972, in a section with Tommy McCook and Bobby Ellis. On title track to LP Cloak And Dagger, and "Iron Claw" and "Rude Walking" from that LP. Also recorded in the US. Member of the Skatalites from when Lester Sterling reformed the band in 1978. Also played with McCook led Skatalites in 1988 and 1990.
