Acadian singer-songwriter-actor (born in New Brunswick, Canada) was a northern Atlantic Coast fisherman before kicking off his singing career that has now spanned over 40 years. A legendary amabassador of Acadian music, Lacroix was honoured with a prestigeous Order Of Canada award in 2008 for his long-standing promotion of traditionnal Acadian music, poetry and culture.
