Donna Maya is a Berlin based musician, DJ and producer. Donna Maya combines her theremin playing with electronic beats with a reggae vibe to create a complex but danceable sound. She used to be a drummer and keyboard player in various bands. With increasing enthusiasm for electronic music, she becomes a producer and DJ with a focus on Drum`n`Bass, Hip Hop, Dubstep tunes and Bass music. After her audio engineer diploma she worked in New York as an engineer assistant at Unique Recording on Times Square and took care of productions as from Run DMC and Easy Mo Bee to Joe Lynn Turner and Leni Stern. Donna Maya is also founder of the label Rudel Records and became the first female Ableton certified trainer. In her own productions she developed an unique creative compositional style. She also composed turntable concerts for DJ and orchestra and wrote film music. Donna Maya is releasing her music internationally on various labels.
