A.k.a. Missal
Czechoslovakian rock group which was established in 1992. Group members included L. Dajč, Lubomír Peltan, Michal Plass and Martin Soukup, who played together for about two years. Peltan participated mostly when the group was formed. The first version of the band went under the name "Missal". The initial orientation of punk music musicians eventually switched to gothic rock, influenced by listening to the English group The Sisters of Mercy. After recording a demo, guitarist Dajč and drummer Plass both leave the group. Plass was replaced by the new drummer, T. Brancuzský. After some disagreements in 1995 Peltan L. leaves. The group was renamed to "Dorian Gray". R. Lysý became their new bassist. The new group records one demo. After leaving Brancuzský, the group begins to use a drum machine. In the period 1997-1998 the group recorded two demos. At the end of 1998, the group breaks up and begins to play in Martin Soukup's group XIII. Century. In November 2000, Michael Plass and Martin Soukup decided to restore the group including bassist P. Cross and keyboardist Martin Klofáče. Rok is testing a new program. The group is renamed to "Dorian". In 2002, the group tried to play concerts and after the positive responses of students, Dorian decided to make an official CD. P. Cross has a different ideas and opinions and leaves. The group returns after years with L. Peltan. Defunct/expired website: dorian.fbi.cz
