Guitar player and vocalist from Southern California, USA. Doug, and his brother Don Ellington (first cousins of Buck Owens) formed Doug Ron & Don in the early 1970's near Bakersfield, California USA. After Doug Ron & Don, Ellington founded a group called Woodrose with Paul Lewis and Don Utterbach. Woodrose played as house band at Harry's in Pismo, California USA for 7 years. During that time, guest artists included Wynn Stewart, Buddy Alan, Lawanda Lindsey, David Frizzell, Merle Haggard, and Michael Parks. Ellington continues to play as of 2014 with Roger Gomes in OkiePort.
