Doug Gray (born May 22, 1948) is an American singer best known as the lead vocalist of The Marshall Tucker Band. Gray sang lead on most of the band's songs, however he did not sing lead on the band's hit "Can't You See", which featured founder and guitarist Toy Caldwell as the singer.Doug Gray did play a huge role in the group, both he and the drummer, Paul Riddle were responsible for splitting the original Marshall Tucker Band.In addition to singing Doug Gray also sometimes plays tambourine and in the band's early days he played keyboards.
