Canadian singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist (bass, banjo, steel guitar, piano, fiddle) and record executive born January 19, 1940 in Calumet, Quebec. In May 1968 he was hired as Director of A&R for Rodeo Records Ltd. just before their move to Toronto. Son of fiddler Hannah Trineer.
