Bassist and guitarist from Chicago (IL, USA). In 1982 he joined Eleventh Dream Day which is still active today. Together with John Herndon, he founded Tortoise in 1988, then still called Mosquito. In 1995 he played a short period with The For Carnation and since 1997 he's also been a member of Pullman. In 1999 he started Brokeback - first as his solo project, but soon more musicians joined him.
