From jacket rear: A1, "Soundscape With Lake And River" (realized 1979) A2, "Of Time And Nostalgia" (realized 1977) B1, "Winterset" (realized 1976) B2, "Triptych" (realized 1977) Prier to his retirement in 1979, Douglas Lilburn held a personal chair at Victoria University of Wellington where he was Director of the Electronic Music Studios, for the establishment of which he had been responsible fifteen years earlier. All four works on this record were realized there. The publication of this recording was made possible by the Australasian Performing Right Association Ltd., through its Music Committee in New Zealand. On labels: © Douglas Lilburn 1979, 1977 ℗ Kiwi/Pacific Records 1980 Beneath the 'W' in the "WC—" are small marks which make it look like its wearing clogs.
