Russian fusion/psychedelic/post-rock band from Kaliningrad, Russia, formed in 2006. In 2011 due to some personal contradictions Denis Sukhotin (saxophone, guitar) and Viktoria Tronina (vocals) have left the band, and Dr. Gonzo changed the direction, started new, song-oriented program (originally the band was instrumental) with Andrey Lazakovich, original flutist, becoming a vocalist. After few years the band (sort of) stopped, with Evgeniy Efimov traveled to India, while Dmitriy Stekolnikov moved from Kaliningrad to Moscow. In 2016 the band reunited specially for the "Alteya" festival with its original lineup - and became active again. But since that time the band played only 2 concerts at music competition festival "Revolution Festival" in 2017, becoming its finalists, and after that due to personal contradictions the band was put on hold again. After that three of the band's original members, Dmitriy Stekolnikov, Evgeniy Efimov and Igor Fedorov, started a new band called BLEDNYJ, that continues the original ideas of Dr. Gonzo, but in the form of a trio.
