Dr Pytor was born and lives in Kraków. He has been in the music business for many years. At first it was an electric guitar and a jazz-rock band. Until 1998 when he came into contact with a software called Fruity Loops. The first musical fascinations start with Joy Division, Cocteau Twins, continue with Laibach, and then move on to a four-year extreme fascination with jazz. His most important fascinations in electronic music are Autechre, Plastikman, Monolake, Scorn, Muslimgauze, Photek. The first pieces of music made by Dr Pytor came into existence in 2001 when he was obsessed by drum’n’bass. Five years later he heard Dubstep for the first time and he fell in love with this genre at first sight. Apart from dubstep Dr Pytor created music for films Luna (2007) and Panoptykon (2009). He also did the cinematography and editing for these films.
