Single 2015 on Full Time Hobby label
Electronic and Rock (Synth-pop)
Working with long time collaborators Shaunn Watt and Peter Carruthers of Siskiyou and William Kendrick of Failing, The project delivers a darker, more complex sound than that of Smith's previous work. Bringing Andy Dixon (Secret Mommy) into the equation for his signature electronic beats and programming, Dralms packs a heavier punch, pulling the listener into its depths, and demanding undivided attention. Smith’s Lyrics expose powerlessness, fear and rhetoric. Beyond this poetic prowess, the band’s strength lies in their ability to manipulate and play off of this content. Nothing captures this more than the band live. Cultivating an ebb and flow of all-encompassing build ups and ruthlessly catchy grooves, Dralms dramatic sound and pure volume creates a visceral and profound reaction in their listener.
