Founded in 1999 as a studio project to record dub and roots reggae by Kimmo Tyni and Kasper Pihlström. Dreadlock Tales has since expanded to become a live show as well. Kasper Pihlström left the project sometime after their first album. Various artists have contributed to the project, both in their studio work and live on stage.
