Dregz
A.k.a. Jason Camilleri
Dregz started out in the early 1990s as songwriter, producer and vocalist with the hip-hop group Best Shot. The band signed to the major East West label. Best Shot's 2nd single 'United Colours' got to no. 64 in the uk charts in Jan 1994. The band went on to tour along-side East 17 across the UK and Germany. Another aspect of Dregz varied CV involves his acting work. He was also involved in the casting of the hit film Human Traffic, by Cardiff filmmaker Justin Kerrigan Dregz is one of the founding members of 'Higher Learning', a successful HipHop club night based in Cardiff. Dregz presents his own radio show 'Mixing It', Saturdays at 11 PM on BBC Radio Wales.
