The Dresden Baroque Orchestra was founded in 1991 by graduates of the Dresden School of Music. They were fascinated by the new sound of baroque instruments with which a nuanced speaking play in an ideal manner possible. Over the years it became clear what the Saxon musicians had to bring in special in the early music scene: a strong emotion and expressiveness associated with significantly word embossed music, an interpretation of an unbiased, lively perspective.
