Band,
Croatian hardcore hiphop group from Rijeka, active in the late 90's-early 00's. Formed in 1998 as a crew of 8 MC's but the number soon reduced to trio consisting of Wort-X, Suicide and Sketch. Were the key act in forming the late 90's hiphop scene in Rijeka and while their status was being built on live gigs and a bunch of recorded demo material, the breakthrough came when DJ Knockout recruited them for a collaboration on a track called "Novi Poredak" (New Order) that was produced by him and appeared on now legendary compilation "Hip Hop Generacija 2000". The track had even a recorded video to it, which at the time meant a lot for promotion of fresh new talents with low financial budget. In late 1999 Suicide & Wort-X started a weekly radio program about hiphop music called "Freestyle Radio Show" which served as a mean to get demo tracks by their group and other Rijeka's rap artists played on air. In 2000 DJ Knockout invited the trio once again for another collaboration, this time "Novi Poredak 2001" for the "Hip Hop Generacija 2001" compilation which was the group's last appearance on a major release. The group kept collaborating with DJ Knockout afterwards, recording tracks that remained known only to the Rijeka area. At the time, while still being a Drill Skillz member, Wort-X teamed up with Knockout as duo under the name of Njuške, which literally translated in english means "The Snouts" but in croatian slang has the meaning "The Big Shots", as one of the projects for Knockout's newly started label Punchline Imperium. The two recorded several tracks before they split in 2003. Suicide left Drill Skillz in 2002, and the remaining two members split the following year. Wort-X changed his artist name afterwards and became widely known as Dejo D-Leyo, while Sketch under new name Dale randomly appeared as guest on some of Rijeka's rap releases, most notably Sirotinja d.o.o.'s album/compilation "Kompilacija 2007." Suicide, on the other hand, shifted through various bands during the remainder of the 00's but remained mostly known as the driving force behind "Freestyle Radio Show" to this date (2015).
