Inspired by his half Gambian roots, Duguneh established an authentic style in which he infuses original sounds from Africa into accessible electronic dance / urban music from the West. The music carries a personal story, high ‘feel-good’ factor and stimulates a feeling of summer. The most recent single “Sufre“, for which Duguneh collaborated with Emy Perez (former pre-program of Shakira), was signed on PM Recordings (e.g. Daddy Yankee, Flo Rida and Mohombi). Sufre was tipped by the Dutch Top 40, used by radio and TV (e.g. SLAM! and The Voice of Holland), and ranked in Spotify’s Viral Top 10 in the peak of summer. Duguneh is one of the rapidly rising Dutch artists to keep an eye on.
