The Dukakis People are an American alternative soul, rock and avant garde funk band that feature the duo of drummer Martin Brock and multi-instrumentalist and founder Rocky Jones Ree. Formed in 1990, Kansas City, Kansas, the groups original sound bordered on extreme experimentation and hip-hop during their early albums, and they draw from a wide variety of influences.
