Duplex Johnson was a dutch band that emerged from Breda in the eigthties, and was formerly called Staged. Duplex Johnson explored the New Wave genre, blending it with all kinds of other rhytms. Was often compared with TC Matic. L.X. Siegers (vocals) continued his musical career in the later eighties with Nancy Works On Payday. Bart van Poppel (a.k.a. Buddy Art, playing bass) later on played in Tambourine, Lois Lane en Shine.
