A.k.a. Duracha
Hillside High School Funk band from Durham, North Carolina. The name "Duralcha" stems from NC town names "Durham, Raleigh, and Chapel Hill". Original Members: Stanley Saunders (Trombone),Terry Bullock (trumpet), Bobby Moody (Saxophone), Doug Kelly (Guitar), Alfred Burton Jr. (Drums), Jonathan Eubanks (Bass & Guitar), Michael Meeks (Vocals), Craig Beaumont (), and Larry Knight (Percussion & Vocals). Original name was intended to be "Duracha", but the only single put out had the misspelled name Duralcha. Apparently the song "Ghet-to Funk" was recorded by rivaled group by the name of "The Black Experience Band".
