Musician born in San Francisco, California. Dylan played piano for a couple of years starting when he was ten years old, then moved on to guitar for a few years. In his mid-teens he started playing bass. He and his brother, Kevin Gautschi, formed the band Growth Of Alliance out of high school, then he played in a band called The Look for another few years. (He played bass in both bands.) Soon after that, Dylan, Kevin, and Nick Powers formed Major Powers & The Lo-Fi Symphony. For this band, Dylan took up the drums.
